Catching clouds
Coaching for yourself

Do you recognize this?

Sometimes you have a vague feeling that you can’t quite put your finger on. You want to change something, but you’re not sure how to approach it. You get stuck and can’t see the way forward, or you don’t understand yourself and your own reactions. AND you wish you didn’t have to do it all on your own.\

Everyone reaches a point at some time when a little help is needed. I had to learn that myself, too. You don’t need to do it alone. We’ll jointly go on the journey – catching clouds together.

Way of working

Coaching is a supported process. As a coach, I support your own process, am your guide and fellow traveler, but you determine the route. I’m open and genuinely curious about you as a person and your story. I believe you’re perfectly fine just the way you are, no matter how much you may be struggling with what you might need help for. Everything you think, feel, and do is welcome. Together we’ll uncover the answers to your questions, give space to your dreams, explore where you want to go, and how you can get there.

As a qualified professional coach, I use a variety of methods, such as Voice Dialogue, ACT, Focusing, and Motivational Interviewing. But I have learned that strictly following certain methods or approaches can often be counterproductive. Instead, we focus on what you truly need in that moment. I am always present as my real self, as a human, genuine and open, and I respond from that place, drawing on all my experiences and intuition. My main motivation, as a human and as a coach, is creating connection. I’m patient and take the time that is needed while always keeping the goal in mind.

I also do love playing and creativity. One of my favorite quotes is by George Bernard Shaw: ‘We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.’ That’s why, in my coaching, I like to use playful and creative techniques where they fit, often with surprising results.

‘What’s your best discovery?’ asked the mole.

‘That I’m enough as I am,‘ said the boy.

Practical Information

The search for the ‘right’ coach is always complicated. You can check education, diplomas, certificates, and experience, but the choice remains a personal matter. Is there a ‘click’ between you and me? That’s why a short introduction in person, by phone, or by video call is always free.

We begin the process with an intake of about one hour, where we’ll explore your topics in detail and address any related questions you may have. Then we’ll also agree on the number of sessions and the time frame. I’m usually taking around 1,5 hours for each session. This allows us to go on your journey at an easy pace, without rush. If you feel the need for longer sessions, that is, of course, also possible.

My coaching room is located in Zuidbroek, about halfway between Groningen and the German border. The location is easy to reach from all directions. I also offer walk-and-talk coaching, which I find to be a great alternative, as this usually allows your thoughts to flow more freely. We’ll then take a walk together in beautiful surroundings. Online coaching is also possible, of course, if you live further away. We will agree on this individually.

Rates

– Private clients: EUR 95 per hour, including VAT

– Business clients: EUR 95 per hour, excluding VAT

The rate is calculated for the duration of the intake and the sessions. The preparation of each session beforehand as well as my reflection and evaluation of your process afterwards are of course included. I intentionally limit the number of sessions per day so that I can be fully there for you. If, for example, you were the fifth client of the day, I would have little energy left, and that wouldn’t be fair to you. In addition, I invest time in training, networking, and literature research, which enables me to offer you the quality that I believe you deserve. If the rate is beyond your current financial means, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll try to find a solution.

Reimbursement

by employer

More and more companies have a budget for coaching, as they recognize the importance of their employees’ well-being and job satisfaction. Coaching can help to prevent stress and other issues before they escalate. So feel free to ask your employer whether they’re willing to cover the costs of your sessions or part of them.
